Here we have me enjoying a beautiful sunset over Lake Geneva from a bench next to our hostel in Montreux.
Next we have a picture of me taking a picture on the train ride back from the castle and chocolate factory, and the picture I took.
Next we have two images from the St. Pierre Cathedral in Geneva, where our friend (at least Gabe's and mine) John Calvin preached. Behind Gabe and me you can see Geneva's aptly named Jet D'eau.
We are off to Normandy on Sunday to work at a cheese farm. Rumor has that fromageries smelly. Even if this one is, it's supposed to have a view over the Atlantic Ocean. So I'll at least have something to look at while I'm pinching my nose.

have you seen any neat french bicycles over there? do many people bike for transportation? you and gabe should mount some nice old bikes for your next excursion. couldn't be a better way to see the countryside.

sorry to bug you so much about bikes, i just love them so much. i just recently made a fixie out of an old peugeot i pulled from a dumpster. every time i ride it i'll think of you and the gabester wandering amongst the rolling hills of france.
You know, I haven't seen many bikers here or many awesome bikes. Maybe because I never located the hipster part of Lyon. However, Lyon and Paris have these awesome city bike programs that everyone is using...

hey Thom, Marisa directed me to your blog. Cool pictures, cool stuff. The first picture of Lake Geneva reminds me a bit of Lake Michigan along part of the southern Michigan coast. Maybe its just me. Well, Ill be looking forward to your next blog. Take care!
I will confirm that the chocolates that you had at the chocolate factory are very delicious (thank you for sending some :). Beautiful pictures Thom.
